Hello again!

July was an enjoyable time this year.  After an uneventful 4th we made our way back to Aka Jima for a beautiful weekend.  We tried to rent mopeds for the day but Ellie WOULD NOT get on them...so much for that.  Either way it was a beautiful trip.  We also made it through our first family 5k run.  As you can see Ellie got tired too.  Katie was nervous about making it without stopping.  We paced ourselves and come in at a respectable (first among stroller pushers) 27 minutes and change.

Then of course we ended the month on a high note with Ellie's second birthday.  She certainly understands what presents are and what cake is.

ROKU GATSU

Well...what can we say.  It is October and we are just getting around to posting for June.

Blogspot just updated their interface and we are still getting the hang of it.  In June Will made his way to Cambodia for a medical civil action project (MEDCAP).  Basically we went to rural Cambodia and provided medical procedures (in Will's case...removing teeth and other strange things from inside the mouth).  The first few photos are from that trip.  At the same time Marie came out for a second visit and what a wonderful time She and Katie and Ellie had...the weather was beautiful and the water was warm. Then at the end there are a few more photos from Cambodia.
