The blog begins again. We are sorry for the break in the action. In the mean time we have welomed Ellie to our family, vacationed in Kansas City with our families for two weeks and then decided to move to Okinawa, Japan. In retrospet the move was absolutely bananans (for all you old folks out there consult a certain song by No Doubt for the meaning of bananas); but we made it safe and sound. Here are a few photos from the month of September starting with an arial view of the main island of Japan (Honshu)...here we are just north of Tokyo.

The three of us are no worse for the wear...Ellie is doing what she did for most of the past 13 hours on this plane.

Here is some Japanese Yen...believe us, the 5000 Yen bill goes fast!

For the first 19 days we stayed in the Westpac Lodge, Okinawa on Camp Foster.

Not sure if you can see the flags but one is USA and one is Japan.

This is the new dental office...
The following are a few photos of some scenery and the beach.

We bid September (and most nights) farwell with this sunset. Believe it or not this appears to be the same sun we have back in the states.
Until next time...
