Happy New Year from Okinawa! We rang in the new year in style with the neighbors. Of course we had a tent...like we do for every neighborhood party. This night it got down in the 50's. We saw hats, gloves, fleeces, etc. In our defense it was really windy that night. The month of January was relatively uneventful in the Duensing household. The weather was all over he place. We had some wonderful days (especially by Missouri standards). We also had stretches of days where we didn't see the sunshine. Trust us...with the humidity over here when it is windy, rainy and only in the 60's it can feel downright cold. We have a few photos from the month. Most are of Ellie. We hope you enjoy.
Below is an example of the nice weather we saw...This is Ellie in our backyard.
Below is Ellie at her 5 month bath...believe it or not we do bathe her a bit more often than that!
And here is Ellie demonstrating her first love...
Ah...Ellie's first visit to the park!
This is a view of Cape Zanpa...one of our warmer January days.
And that's it folks...Like I mentioned...didn't do much in January. No photos, but Will did get a chance to catch his first tuna at the end of the month...nothing like cutting it up and eating it raw when you know it was swimming hours before!
We will see you all next month.
