Konnichiwa!! Sorry this post is a bit late...summer time here invites lethargy. However, our summer has flown by and we always seem to be busier than ever. We managed a few interesting outings this month. We found a new beach that we love on Hamahigajima. We also took Ellie to the butterfly park out on Motobu peninsula. And of course we had an important birthday to celebrate!!
We start here with some photos of Ellie around the house and at the park. If you are watching Ellie and it suddenly gets quiet and you cannot find her...chances are she has found something similar to this photo!

We had a BBQ on the 4th of July. This is Ellie's outfit.
Below are a couple images from the new beach we found on Hamahigajima. We love the beach because it is well protected, and has these huge rock formations out in the water and are great to snorkel around.
The next few photos are at the butterfly park. Ellie thought the butterflies were neat...but she doesn't understand that you cannot grab and squeeze butterflies or they die.
They say to wear red and they butterflies will land on you.
Ellie convinced us that she needed this shisa dog stuffed animal.
